Keith — originally a certified financial planner — purchased the distillery after being approached for business advice by two craft distillers, and quickly made it a family affair, with sons Carson and Chase joining the operation. By the end of 2019, the Hazelbaker family pivoted toward sourcing aged bourbon, adding special finishes, and building a portfolio of whiskeys that reflected a more considered, quality-first approach.
